About me
I am an Assistant Teaching Professor at the Northern Arizona University since August 2022. I have a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the State University of Maringá - Brazil (2009) and a Ph.D. in Informatics and Computer from the Northern Arizona University - USA (2020). Before joining the NAU, I worked as a Lecturer at the Federal University of Technology - Paraná, Campus Campo Mourão, Brazil for 12 years. I have experience teaching undergraduate courses and advising students in Capstone, research, and extension projects. My research and academic interests intersect Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and Software Engineering, mainly focusing on the social aspects of chatbot design. Furthermore, I am interested in women's empowerment in Computing and Technology activities.
